Installation Standard Of Gypsum Board

1. The gypsum board of the wall should be installed in sequence starting from the end of one side of the wall. After installing one side, install various pipelines, sockets, switches and other hidden works in the wall. After the acceptance of the concealed project is completed, the other side gypsum board is installed.

2. Gypsum board should be laid vertically, and the long side joints should be installed on the vertical keel. The overlapping width of gypsum board and keel should not be less than 20mm.

3. Light steel keel should be fixed with special anti-rust self-tapping screws and driven in and tightened with an electric screw gun at one time. The screw spacing along the periphery of the gypsum board should be 200mm, and the screw spacing in the board should be 300mm; the screw should be 10-15mm away from the edge of the board and 15-20mm from the cut edge.

4. When installing gypsum board, fix it from the middle of the board to the four sides of the board. The tip is slightly buried in the board 0.5～1.0mm, and the paper surface should not be damaged.

5. The joint treatment of gypsum board should use the joint caulking paste and joint tape supplied by the manufacturer. The gypsum board and the surrounding walls or columns should have 3mm notches for cracking treatment. Note that full batch putty cannot be used instead of caulking putty.

6. The lower edge (cut edge) of the gypsum board should be lifted with a top board, about 10mm away from the ground, and should not be placed directly on the floor.

7. The edge of the gypsum board should be tight with the top of the floor, leaving no gaps. A 10mm gap should be left at the top of the sound insulation partition wall, and sealant should be embedded. 8. The gypsum board must be installed in staggered seams (including vertical seams, transverse seams, single panels on both sides of the keel, double-layer panels on both sides, and double-layer panels on one side of the keel).

9. Corner guards should be used at the external corners, and metal corner guards should be used for the external corners of the parts susceptible to collision; metal corner guard paper tapes should be used for the external corners of the non-collision parts.
